Blackwood Valley Maps, Western Australia

Blackwood Valley Maps
The Blackwood River is the longest river in Western Australia's South West. The river begins in the southern wheatbelt agricultural area and travels 270km through lush green forests and rolling farmland to the ocean at Augusta. Along the way the river lends its name to a remarkable valley.
The Blackwood River Valley, or Blackwood Valley, is generally known as the countryside contained within the diamond formed by the communities of Boyup Brook, Balingup, Nannup and Bridgetown. This area includes the town of Greenbushes. The town of Darkan lies within the catchment area in the upper reaches of the river.
